About Newnham Engineering
NEWNHAM ENGINEERING LTD. is a privately owned British firm which was founded in 1966. It provides a manufacturing service, mainly to the Motor Industry, by providing a range of suspension components, trailer accessories and related items; the manufacture of other items of an engineering nature is also undertaken.
The type of work in which the Company engages places particular emphasis on expertise, prior experience in the field and the need for Quality Assurance and Control at all stages of the operation.
SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES
The Quality System and its allied Procedures have been produced to ensure that the Company's customers receive products and service, together with adequate back-up prepared in accordance with specifications and parameters supplied and also documents current methods of working in accordance with BS EN ISO9002: 1994.
SUMMARY
The Quality System which was installed in 1990 has been gradually improved and was approved by accreditation to BS5750: Part 2: 1987 (ISO9002) on 26th July 1991 by N.Q.A. who issued Certificate No. 0118 of Registration. During 1991 approval to TECHNISCHES überwachung VEREINS (Düsseldorfer, Westphalia) was also gained with TüV No. F 3883.
CHANGE OF SPECIFICATION
With the changes effected in the new British Standard, BS EN ISO9000: 1994 (ISO9001 & 9002), interim Registration was granted on 21st November 1994.
